SOCCER TOURNAMENT

On the 8th of February the Residence team (CEPURA FC) played their first game of the year 2026, this was an initiative to bring the students together. The match was between CEPURA and BZ STARS, the match was played at MAPORO sports field. The match started off well with both teams playing with concentration and dedication. The full-time score was 0-0 to both teams which took the match to extra time, then one of CEPURA players Lesedi Legoale scored a goal to put CEPURA a goal ahead. The full score after ET was CEPURA 1-0 BZ STARS.

On the 22nd the team played a top 4 tournament at WHITERIVER RUGBY CLUB, participating teams were CEPURA FC, DELU FC, LEGOGOTE FC and MNGWENYA RES. CEPURA played the first game facing MNGWENYA RES and came out with a 2-1 win, the goal scorers were Thabang Mohale and Thabang Linda. After the win, they advanced to the finals. The final was between CEPURA & LEGOGOTE FC, after 90 minutes of play the scores for the match were CEPURA 3-2 LEGOGOTE, Lesedi Legoale scoring 2 goals for CEPURA and Thabang Linda scoring the third goal. Even though the players were tired they fought with all their strengths as they were able to win the final, this was

all done due to discipline and trusting in each other.
