The Essence and Heart of Motherhood event was about Motherhood is more than a role — it is identity, sacrifice, grace, strength and becoming… all at once. The panel unpacked the true essence of what it means to be a mother in today’s world, the seen and unseen, the beautiful and the stretching.

Special guests first panelists were Khanyisile Mona, Tinei Langridge, Libby Bell, Thembelihle Mjaji-Mbatha, and the moderator was Alice Mathenjwa. The second panelists were Zamacibisa Hlatshwayo, Sarah-Marie Du Preez, Nomvula Maluleke and Helen Dietrichsen, and the moderator was Khanyisile Kalipa. The Main Special guest was Mrs Gugu Khathi. Cecil Complex prides its self for being one of the sponsors of the event, and about 10 students of Cecil Complex attended the event as volunteers for ushering. This event benefited our (Cecil Complex) students in vast aspects of life and empowerment,

 

as this is one of Cecil Complex's vision to not only provide accommodation but also develop and empower students to enhance their vocational skills. The event was organised by MRS ZININGI NKUNA from ZiNtombi Organisation.
